Single-Collateral Dai becomes SAI during the Multi-Collateral Dai launch

MakerDAO launched Multi-Collateral Dai on 18 November 2019 and renamed the original ETH-only Dai token to SAI. SAI holders were directed to migration or settlement paths rather than continued issuance under the current DAI system.
